Dear Mr. Boe & Ms. Cartalucca:
I am writing in regards to your property located at 3460 Livingston Avenue in Orono, tax
parcel number 17-117-23-43-0017. This letter is concerning the exterior storage of
unlicensed and/or inoperable vehicles on the above addressed property. I have written to
you before about these same issues. I have received an additional complaint about the
vehicles and at the time of my inspection there appeared to be three vehicles on the
property that are in violation of city ordinance.
Please advise your tenants that it is not just a matter of putting current tabs on the
vehicles but they also need to be roadworthy. The city does have the ability to "take"the
vehicles without proceeding with court. As the owners of the property you would be
responsible for any expenses incurred by the city for such action.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, please fell free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Willie Gibbs R.S.
Inspector
