A pool and pool house are proposed. To create a flat area for the pool retaining wall
and fill are proposed. Please review the attached grading plan and retaining wall
specifications.

The wall design engineer, KBH Consulting, has submitted the information we requested in our
memo dated October 18, 2007. KBH submitted the following factors of safety for the design of
the retaining wall:
Sliding 1.5
Overturning 2.0
Bearing Capacity 2.0
The design is in conformance with the International Building Code.
