OS-3123 <br /> WHEREAS, Michael G. Hart and Kristin J. Hart, husband and �vife <br /> (he.reinafter "the applicants") are the owners of the property located at 1005 Linden Lane <br /> within the City of Orono (hereinafter the "City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot l, Linden Beach, and part of North 16 feet of Lot 14, and part of <br /> adjacent vacated Linden Lane, Linden Beach, Hennepin County, <br /> Minr►esota (hereinafter the "property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have made application to the City of Orono <br /> for a variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-12�8 to allow 16% hardcover <br /> within the 0-75' zone where 0% is normally allowed and 17% cunently exists; and <br /> 43.�% hardcover within the 75'-250' zone where 25% is normally allowed and 54.6% <br /> currentiv exists; and 45% hardcover within the 250'-500' zone where 30% is normally <br /> allowed and 57% currently exists. <br /> NOW, T�-IEREFCDRE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> Orono, Minnesota: <br /> FIND�NGS <br /> 1. The property is located in the LR — 1B One Family Lal<eshore Residential <br /> Zoning District which requires a minimum lot area of 1.0 acre and a <br /> minimum lot width of 140'. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearina <br /> held on June 20, 2005 and recommended approval of variances based on <br /> the tollo�ving findings: <br /> a.
