August 14�, 1979 The Orono Council met on the above date with the following members present: P4ayor Van Nest, Council- raernbers Butler, �iurr, and Paurus. Councilmer.iber P'iassengale arrived at 7: 10 P.M. Also present: City Planner Olson, City Attorney Malkerson, City �ngineer Cook, and City Clerk Strom. City Administrator q Benson arrived at 9 : 30 P,r�I. Butler moved, Paurus seconded, to ap�rove the Consent CONSENT AG�PdDA* Agenda* , subject to removing items 6 , 10, 17, & 33, with all staff data and supportive infornation to be included in the Piinutes in the sequence they occur. Gabriel Jabbour, Planning Comnission rnember, PLANNING COMt�4ISSION was present and stated that the Planning Commission Hardcover, Walls, & approved his appointment as liasion to the Council. Fences He stated that the Planning Commission �aould like a clarification as to the definition of hardcover and if gravel is included as hardcover. Discussion included heights and definition of fences and walls. Paurus moved, P�4assengale seconded, to request staff to draft an amendr.ient to the ordinance to include gravel as hardcover to clarify the intent of hardcover. r4otion, Ayes (5) - Nay�s (0) .
