Postponed r4eeting of the Orono Council, 7:00 P.P�.

During the Council meeting of r4ay 11, 1978 ,
it was determined that the Council meeting of
P4ay 25, 1978 would be attended by three Council-
persons : Mayor Van Nest, Councilmembers P�assengale
and Pesek. Councilmembers Butler and Paurus would
not be able to attend.
Late afternoon of Psay 25, 1978, I spoke to Mrs .
Pesek and was advised that Councilmember Pesek
would not be able to attend the Council meeting
of that evening until possibly 9 : 00 or 9 : 30 P.PZ.
I notified P�ayor Van Nest and Councilriember
Massengale that we would not have a quorum and
advised them that I would appear at the Council
Chambers to inform the public that, because of a
lack of a quorum, the Council meeting was postponed
until the next regularly scheduled Council meeting
of June 15, 1978 at 7: 00 P.PZ.
The Council Chambers were closed at 8 : 45 P.P�. and
a sign was posted at the door notifying the public
of such.
