Public Hearing for Orono Federal Revenue Sharing, 7: 00 P.M.
� Septer,iber 21, 1977
� �he Orono City Council met on the above date with
+ the following members present: I�sayor Van Pdest,
Councilmembers P�tassengale, Paurus, and Pesek.
� Absent: Councilr.►ember Butler. Also present:
City Administrator Dick Benson.

� P�ayor Van Nest announced that this was the time PUBLIC HEARING
� and place for a public hearing concerning the Federal Revenue Sharing
proposed use of approximately $57, 850 of Federal
� Revenue Sharing monies for Capital Outlay and
Health and Sanitation support within the General
� I'und proposed budget of $985, 538. Dick Benson,
• City Adr:linistrator,presented the idotice of Public
Hearing and Affidavit of Publication. No public
� present for corunents. The City Administrator
entered into the record the following memo:

On the following page is a tabulation of the
1978 proposed budget of the General Fund as of
this date, and the proposed uses and amounts of
� Revenue Sharing Funds allocated to each depart-
. ment: Page 2 �
The public hearing was closed at 7: 10 P.t4.
�� 'aurus moved, Pesek seconded, to approve the
� Federal Revenue Sharing uses as presented as
a funding source for the 1978 General Fund
� Budget. P'iotion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) .

Paurus moved, Pesek seconded, that the meeting ADJOURNMENT
be adjourned at 7: 1? P.Pi. Motion, Ayes (4) -
