The on-site sewage treatment system at the above address has been inspected and appears to fall into the category

1 "CODE SYSTEM"-A system which meets all the location, design, and construction standards of the current City
Codes, and which is operating satisfactorily by treating and disposing of the entire current sewage input

current City Codes, but was installed according to the code in effect at the time of installation, and which

system which may or may not meet all the location, design, and construction standards of the current City

between the distribution device and the limiting soil characteristics.

Tank inspection indicates:

9 Inspection risers missing-tanks could not be inspected. Inspection risers (4" dia. pipe) must be installed in each
tank at next punpout. If tanks have not been punped out within the last three years, they should be Fxnped

RE: Septic System Repairs
Dear Mr. Stockton:
This is a reminder that a recent inspection revealed that your
septic system is failing and must be repaired.
Please contact me as soon as possible to discuss your options.
You have until August 3, 1992 in which to make repairs to the
system. Enclosed is a copy of your most recent septic report.
The procedure for initiating septic system repairs is as follows:
l. Hire a Soil/Site Evaluator to do the necessary testing
and design.
2. Submit the design to the City for approval.
3 . Once the design is approved, have one or more
contractors bid on the approved design.
4. The contractor you choose should then obtain a permit
f rom the City bef ore starting work, and he wi 11 ca 11
for the required inspections.

conforming septic system. The sewer connection was required within 90 days of the sewer
availability date, or March 24, 1993 for most residents. Connection to City sewer must now
be.made by December 31, 1993 to avoid legal action.

This is a follow-up letter to remind you that your residence must be connected to City sewer at
this time due to a.non-conforming septic system. Two notices have already been sent regarding
your connection to City sewer. The most recent notice dated December 2, 1993 requires
connection to the sewer by December 31, 1993. At this time, we have not heard from you nor
has a permit been issued for the required connection. If we do not hear from you by January
17, 1994, we will be forced to file a formal complaint.

Dear Mr. Stockton:
Due to a non-conforming septic system, you were required to connect your residence to City
sewer within ninety days of availability (Niarch 24, 1993). As your sewer connection was not
completed, additional notices were sent on December 2, 1993 and January 5, 1994 (enclosures).
Durin� our telephone conversation in January of 1994, I indicated that you could make the
connection to City sewer in th� spring as the connection would be difficult in frozen ground.
A connection deadline of June l, 1994 has been established. If this deadline is not met, the City
will initiate legal action.
