� T�e Orono Council and Planning Commission met
on the above date with the following members
� present: Mayor Van Nest, Councilmembers Butler,
Paurus and Pesek. Absent:Councilmember Massengale
� and City Administrator Benson. Planning Commission
members present: Hannah, Hassel, and Hurr.
� Absent: Dunlap, Guthrie, Hosfield, and McDonald.
• Also present: Building & Zoning Administrator
Muhich, Assistant Building & Zoning Administrator
• Olson, and City Attorney Malkerson.
• City Attorney Bruce 1'Ialkerson reviewed a draft
� of the proposed Platting Ordinance. Staff had
met previously to review for suggested changes
• or additions.
� Provisions discussed were:
� 1. Variances from code requirements
� 2. Variances from procedures
3. Bond
� 4. Flexible Zoning (term)
5. Outlots
�� Definitions (some)
• Procedures and data required
8. Park land
� 9 . Fee revision (temporary)
10. Grade restrictions
� 11. Engineering design standards
12. S�orm water drainage systems
� 13. Improvement requirements (sidewalks and landscaping)
14. Conditional approval
� 15. Length of procedures
� Staff was directed to redraft for further review.
