P�Ir. Paurus also noted that the Orono Human Service Commission to date has not � reported on its initial progress relating to developing a housing inventory and po].icy � that was sent to all members in February. • Councilman Paurus reported that he is in HIGHWAY #12 FREEWAY receipt of a letter from Mr. Harold J. � Panuska referring to the projected Highway #�2 Freeway Plan. It was noted that the first phase of the projected #1� freeway that Mr, Panuska was concerned with had been constructed. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . � Butler moved, Paurus seconded, to approve VARIANCE the variance request for Cleon Hildens, 1240 Spruce Place 1240 Spruce Place, for lot area and width �requirements, conditioned on staff approval of survey noting exact location of existing and proposed structures, and that all i existing structures will be removec��within 60 days after occupancy of new resident. Hennep�,n County has HENDRICKSON ACCESS completed their landscape planting for the LANDSCAPE Hendrickson public access ].ocated on Hennepin County #51. It was noted that Hennepin County will provide protection of the landscape area � from traffic i� necessary. A letter of appreciation will be sent to Hennepin County officials thanking them for their efforts. � Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to approve the LIQUOR STORE AUDIT First Quarter Liquor Store Audit for 1975. Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to authorize SCHENEHAN & ASSOCIATES retaining Schenehan & Associates, Inc. for 73-1 - Appraisers the purpose of reviewing and appraising market and property values relating to the 73-1 sanitary sewer projects. Paul Ellingson, 3020 North Shore Drive 3020 North Shore Drive, as part of the 73-I sanitary sewer costs for easements, fence and shrub replacement. A Butler moved, Paurus seconded, to instruct CRYSTAL BAY LAKE ACCESS the legal department to send a registered • letter to the property owners responsible for installing a fence which is an apparent encroachment on public property located in Shadywood Addition, Lot 2, Block 1, Crystal a Bay View, requesting them to remove such obstacle within 30 days. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) o The City Attorney discussed the need to adopt PROPOSED ORDINANCE an unclaimed and confiscated property and Abandoned Vehicles, abandoned motor vehicle ordinance. This Unclaimed & Confiscated matter was deferred until the June 10, 1975 Property Council meeting to allow staff time to review the ordinance. The City Attorney presented a status report REPLATTING SURVEY on the replatting survey. The City Attorney presented a status report 26' SETBACK � on the 26 ' setback. . Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . �r The legal department discussed a proposed PROPOSED POLICE RESERVE Police Reserve Ordinance. It was recommended ORDINANCE ` that this matter be deferred until more information is available. Paurus moved, I�lassengale seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION �612 Resolution #612 awarding low bid to the Bid Award - North Shore KO-Son Company, Inc. in the amount of $6,527.25 Drive Ravine to install a storm sewer at North Shore Drive ravine. �sotion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) .
