the following members present: T�ayor Searles,
� Councilmen Butler, I�Zassengale, and Paurus.

� Butler moved, Massengale seconded, that the P�tINUTES
� Minutes of the Regular Meetinq of February 11,
1975, be approved as amended. Motion, Ayes (4) -
� Nays (0) ,

Mayor Searles opened the public hearing at 7e35 P.r�i, PUBLIC HEARING
� to con�ider improvements on a drainage ravine on North Shore Drive Ravine
� North Shore Drive. The City Clerk presented the
Notice of Public Hearing, the Affidavit of
� Publication, and the Certificate of Plailing.
Dennis i�leyer, Robert Carlson, Paula Majar
� appeared. After all members of the public
present were afforded an opportunity to be
� heard, the hearing was closed at 8:15 P.Ag.
� Paurus moved, ButZer seconded, to order in the
� improvement on the drainage ravine, conditioned
i a satisfactory commitment from the County
� �nd also a plan for free fill from the County.

• Mayor Searles opened the public hearing at 8e30 P.M. PUBLIC HEARING
to consider an ordinance for antennas. The City Antenna Ordinance
� Clerk presented the Notice of Public Hearing, the
� Affidavit of Publication, and the Certificate of
r�iailingo Russell Lund, Herman Renner, George
� Johnson, and Dr. Hurr appearedo After all members
present were afforded an opportunity to be heard,
� the hearing was adjourned at 9:45 P.M.

� %iayor Searles discussed with Herbert Rlossner and SFiORELAND RESTORATION
Edward PZonteleone, of the Hennepin County Public
• Works Department, the need for a proposal from the
County for restoration of shoreland around Lake
� Min.netonka. The County plans to plant trees and
� also submit a plan on the improvement of County
�oads ;k19 and �6.
• Dave Opheim presented a status report regarding SKI TONKA
Ski Tonka.

, a variance from 75' lakeshore setback, after a 3285 Carman Road
lengthy discussion, was tabled until the meeting

� Stan Straley, 3286 North Shore Drive, request MARINA & DOCK LICENSE
� for a marina and multiple dock license, was 3286 North Shore Drive
tabled until the meeting of March 11, 1975. �

� Louis B, Oberhauser appeared concerning a HERRICK CIRCLE
� request for a residential development £or the Lonc� Lake Road & Western
Herrick Circle property north of the Wayzata Railroad
� Country Clube The City Council requested l�ir.

� presented to the Planning Commission for review,

• Arthur Ahlm request for a residence at 1331 North BUILDING PERMIT

Butler moved, Searles seconded, that the LZCENSING CONTRACTORS
� City Attorney draft an ordinance adopting a
S policy of licensing contractors in the City
of Orono. rTotion, Ayes (3) - Nays (0) .

� Tom Nelson, chairman of the Orono Ice Arena iCE ARENA
Steering Committee, appeared. After much .
� discussion, the request was tabled until the
ineeting of March 11, 1975.

� Butler moved, Searles seconded, that Cnarlotte APPOINTMENT
� Knutson, Finance Clerk, be appointed Deputy Deputy Treasurer

� r1rs. Day appeared regarding a building permit BUILDING PERMIT
to add on to a non-conforming use. A formal 2687 Wayzata Boulevard
� application has not been made. The request
was tabled.

� Searles moved, Butler seconded, that Ordinance ORDINANCE NO. 175
� No. 175, An Ordinance To Amend The Municipal Snowmobiles
Code Of Orono By Amending Section 54,110, be
� adopted. tlotion, Ayes (3) - Nays (0) .

� Resolution #576, A Resolution Designating Snowmobiles
� Certain Areas Of The City Of Orono For The
Operation Of Snowmobiles, be adopted as amended.
