This on-site Sewage Treatment System is designed for a Type l,five-bedroom home in accordance with
the Minnesota Pollution Conrrol Agency Chapter 7080 and focal ordinances.
The periodically saturated soils were located at 16-24 inches(mottled soil).Due to the periodically
saturated soils,a pressurized mound system with 6 inches of rock will need to be installed to ueat the septic
elluent. The bottom of the treatment area must be located at least 3'above the saturated soils. This system
is deslgned with 6 inches of rock
The soils at a depth of 12"have a percolation rate averaging 8.4 MPI.
All tanks need to be insulated if there is less than two feet of cover over the top of the[anks.Clean outs
must be installed on the end of tha laterals for maintenance.
Use 7r32 inch perforations on the laterals.
A 1300 gallon pumping chamber will need to be installed to lift the effluent ro the treatment azea. The
power supply and Switches must be located outside the manhole and pumping chamber in a weatherproof
enclosure.A warning device must be installed with light and sound devices;this is in case of a pump
failure. The manifold and supply line must have back drainage to the pumping chamber.

The area around both sltes must be tenced oftbv t6e coetractor betore aev nctrurfinn bes;n
With proper installation and maintenance, this system should have no problem in treating septic efluent
ett'tctively.Nothing other than gay water,(laundry, showers, etc.)Human water and toilet tissue should be
disposed of into the septic tanks.Garbage disposals are not recommended.Additives must not be used they
may cause harmful damage to your septic system:It is recommended that you pump the septic tanks every
two yean.
Sincerely.
