It was further noted that the Cheyenne Land Company was entered � on the agenda for August 27, 1974, because � of the request of the attorney representing the Company. + The City Council summarized the transportation � plan which shows the upgrading of Highway #12 through the proposed subdivision. It was � also noted that public interest would not be served by allowinq the developm�ent of � 31 one-acre lots for single families and � then have the Highway Department develop part of the subdivision for future highways. • Because the City is in the process of - � c�:�pleting a City wide Comprehensive Guide Plan, which calls for major rezoning to • preclude the necessity for extending + expensive municipal services, ie, sewer and street systems, throughout the community + and the probable routing of Highway �12 and its potential adverse impact on the � future residents involved, therefore • i-iayor Searles moved, Paurus seconded, to • refer the revised preliminary plat to the Planning Commission.
