Special Meeting called by Acting Mayor Mary 10 :00 P.M.
* C. Butler, June 13, 1974
� The City Council met on the above date with
�he following members present: Acting Mayor
Butler, Councilmen Massengale, Paurus , and
Welsh. Absent: Mayor Searles.
�
Lee Liefheit, representing the Minnetonka MINNETONKA ART CENTER
� Art C�enter, was present to discuss the
presentation of a "Comedy of Errors" by
� ShaJ�espeare in the Streets, that was
` scheduled for June 14 , 1974 at 7 : 30 P.M. at
the Minnetonka Art Center.
�
� Mr. Red Daniels , representing the Orono Police POLICE DEPARTMENT
Department, discussed the need for adequate
� police enforcement, parking facilities,
and the possible problein of beer being served
� on the premises.
�
• Paurus moved, Welsh seconded, that the Minnetonka LARG� ASSEMF3LY ORDIN7INCE
Art Center be permitted to schedule and present
� Shakespeare in the Streets, provided that they
apply for a large assembly permit, provide
` adequate police enforcement and eliminate
beer for this particular event. Motion,
Ayes (4) - Nays (0) .

* Butler moved, Paurus seconded, that the meeti.ng ADJOURNMENT
be adjourned at 10 : 45 P.M. Motion, Ayes (4) -
