Submittal of a Declaration for the preservation of the wetland buffer which must be executed and recorded Background: The applicant is proposing to construct a single family home at the location cited above in the city of Orono. The size of the site is approximately five acres. Park of one type 3 wetland approximately 2.3 acres in size exists on the present on the site. There will be no impacts to the wetland from grading or filling as a result of this project. A permit would allow for grading and the creation of wetland buffers. Rule B: Erosion control consisting of silt fence and a rock construction entrance is in place on the site. Rule D: As stated above,park of one type 3 wetland approximately 2.3 acres in size exists on the present on the site. The applicant has proposed the area North of the drainage easement on the North portion of the property to delineate the wetland buffer. Using the site survey, MCWD function and value assessment of wetlands and an aerial photo,the proposed buffer width is approximately 60 feet. A wetland delineation may be done in the future to determine a more precise wetland boundary and establish the minimum wetland buffer as required by MCWD Rules at the time of amendment.
