The City Council cicussed the Scott property NE6R] CITY T3ALL
as a possible futue City iaZl and there was Scott Property
• concern expressed over the total cost of
. the propety plus the additional cost of its
upkee and possible renovation. The Council
exrressed a very definite interest in tlie
roperty but felt that a firm declaration of
intent was a little difficult to give at this
tzme, due to the fact that some information
• anc feedback from the Park Commission and
Planning Commission would be desirable in
tie considering of this property for public
S purposese It was also felt that before a
firm commitment by the City could be given,
a ublic hearing should be held so that all
of the citizens in the municipality would
have an opportunity to have their say as to
>>hether or not they feel this would be a
desirable purchase for the City and whether
• or not a bond issue woulcl be justified in
buying the Scott proertyo
