Regular Meeting o£ the Village Council , 7 :30 P.R4.
November 24 , 1969
The Village Council met on the above date
with the following members present: Mayor
Ross , Councilmen Franzel , Searles , and
Stubbs . Absent: Councilman Butterfield.
Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that the MINUTES
r7inutes of the Regular Meeting of November 10,
1969 , be approved as written. Motion ,
Ayes (4) - Nays (0) .
The Mayor announced that this was the time PUBLIC HEARING
and the place for a Public Hearing concerning 19b9SL- 1
the proposed project of 19695L- 1 , an ivy Place Lighting
improvement consisting of installing and
maintaining of three residential street
lig?Zts on ivy Place , Casco Point, The
Village Clerk presente�l the Notice of
Public Hearing and the Affidavit of
Publication and the Certi£icate of nTailing
to affecred property o��ners . The follcwing
appeared: P�4. Shine. After a11 members
of the public present were afforded an
opportunity to be heard, the ]iearing was
closed.

Preliminary And Final Plans And Ordering
The Improvement 1969SL-1 , be adopted,

Ordinance No. 109 , An Ordinance To Amend

Orono To Regulate The Operation Of Snow-

Searles moved, Franzel seconded, tllat the BUILDABILITY OF LOTS

for a determination of buildability of lots

to discuss the financing o£ the proposed PROJECTS

Chapter 44 Of The Municipal Code Of_ Orono
To Regulate Club Liquor Licenses , be adopted.

Franzel moved, Searles seconded , that the SUNDAY LIQUOR LICENSE
request af the Wayzata Country Club £or Wayzata Country Club
a Sunday Liauor License , be appxoved.
Motion , Ayes (3) - Nays (1) . Stubbs
voting Nay.
Stubbs moved, Searles seconded, that the FOOD STA��P PROGIZAM
Food Stamp Program be initiated in Orono,

Franzel moved, Stubbs seconded, that RFSOLUTIOiV #314
Resolution #314 , A Resolution Appropriating
Sanitary Sewer Connection Charges To The
Sewer Utility Fund, be adopted. ��otion ,

Stubbs moved, Searles seconded, that an SPECIAL APPROPRIATION
additional appropriation of $427. 71 .for
ilillage Office improvements , be approved,

Stubbs moved, Searles seconded, to ban the SNOtUM�BILES
use of snowmobiles on the Orono Golf Course Orono Golf Course
and post appropriate signs to protect the
lives of children using the course for
sledding, etc. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) .
