with the following members present : Mayor
Ross , Councilmen Butterfield, Franzei,
Searles , and Stubbs ._
Searles moved, Stubbs seconded, that Oxono ORO1d0,LONG LAKE
notif.y the Village of Long Lake that Orono POLICE CONTRACT
cannot provide the 1970 Police Contract at
the price offered by Long Lake in their
letter of October 1 , 1969 , and unless Long
Lake will meet our offer o� $17 ,600, the
minimum cost £or the police service to be
rendered, Orono Council is forced to accept
Long Lake's cancellation o£ the Contract
as of January 1 , 1970. Motion , Ayes (5) -
Nays (0) .
Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that Orono ORONO-LONG LAKE
give the Village of Long Lake 9Q days notice PIRE CONTRACT
of cancellation on Orono-Long Lake Fire
Contract , effective January i, 1970..

voting Nay. Stubbs abstaining.
Searles moved, Franzel secanded, that the ADJOURNMENT
meeting be adjourned at 6 :00 P.�I. Motion,
