A-1ay 12, 1969 , The Village Council met on the above date , : with the following members present: A�7ayor Ross , Councilmen Franzel, Searles, and Stubbs . Butterfield absent. Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that the rtINUTES P��inutes of the Re�ular Tleeting of April 23 , 1969, be approved. i7otion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . The following appeared: D. Dillman �oncerning permit to move building; F. i�Terz and J. Graslewicz concerning building permit; rzrs . [9. Dickey and L. LeGault concerning firearms ; A�rs . T. Halloran concerning Old Crystal Bay Road; C. Fist concerning drainage problem on Casco Point; W. Gilbert, Mrs . G. Dotzenrotn, and C. Hamilton concerning other problems on Casco Point; R. tiVelles concerning garbage service; tJ. Parten concerning dock len�th at Brown's Bay Tlarina ; H. Johnson concerning neighbor nuisance. The l�7ayor announced that this tvas the time PUBT,IC HEARING and the place for a Public Hearing on the Street lfacation matter of the vacation of Oak Place betiaeen Blocks 6 and 7 . The �iayor asked if there was anyone present wishing to be heard on the matter. The follv�aing appeared: J. Carson and G. Nelson. After all members of the public present were afforded an opportunity to be heard, the hearing was closed. Stubbs moved, Franzel seconded, that the STREET VACATION Village Engineer make a study of Oal: Place, Oak Pla�ce and that action on the vacation of Oak Place be deferred until the next regular Council meeting. PTotion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that the DIVISION request of E. A. Cashin, 1305 Shoreline 1305 Shoreline Drive Drive, for a division of 8. 31 acres into two building lots, be approved as follows : Parcel A, consisting of 3 acres , and Parcel B, consisting of 5. 31 acres , with the stipulation that any construction on these properties is to be approvecl by the Village Engineer. Searles moved, Franzel seconded, that the REARRANGERIENT OF LOTS request of James Dargovel for a Villas�e opinion as to the best rearrangement of Lots 151-152-153-157-158-171-172, Parcels 400� 800-1200-2800-3200-8400-8800, Winship' s Subdivision, Spring Park, Plat 43640, be referred to the Planning Commission for review and recommendation. Franzel moved, Searles seconded, that the VARIANCE rec{uest of Herman Renner, 3180 North Share 3180 North Shore Drive Drive, for a side setback variance for construction of a garage, be referred to the Plannin� Commission for review and recommendation. Franzel moved, Searles seconded, that the VARIANCE request of Laiarence Berquist, 3395 North 3895 North Shore Drive Shore Drive, for a variance to use 20' of adjacent property for stockpiling his concrete products , be referred to the Planning Commission for review and recom- mendation. P�[otion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . Franzel moved, Searles seconded, that the ASSESSP�7ENT recommendation of the Village Engineer that the sewer assessment of jNilliam Ploe be reducEd from 277 . 3-foot assessment to 160-.f oot assessment, be approved. Reed' s, Inc. -- reduced from 38 slips to 20 buoys Brown's Bay Marina (Brown' s Bay side) -- 30 slips Searles moved, Stubbs seconded, that the TRADE LICENSES following trade licenses be approved: 1�4otion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . Dolder Plumbing � Heating - Plumber � Sewer Hookup Earl Day F� Sons , Inc. - Plumber - Se�ver Hookup F� Sewage Disposal Installation Widmer Bros . - Sewage Disposal Installation Franzel moved, Searles seconded, that a RECONSTRUCTION letter be drafted and sent to the Hennepin County Road #15 County Engineer stating the Council ' s disapproval of the present reconstruction of County Road #1;, but stating its willingness to approve a plan which iaill better serve the needs of the community. T4otion, Ayes (4) - Nays {0) . Searles moved, Stubbs seconded, that the BILLS All Fund Accounts 3943 through �035 and Liquor Store Accounts 6815 through 6823 , be paid.
