The Villa ge Council met on the above date
with the following members present: T9ayor
Ross , Councilmen Butterfield, Searles , and
Stubbs . �ouncilman Franzel absent.
Stubbs moved, Searles seconded, that tlie A4INUTES

24, 1969, be approved. Motion, Ayes (4) -

The following appeared: P. Fahlin, R. Kempf,
L. Hork, J. Lehtinen, 0. Kieran, and R. Holm-
gren concerning marinas . I . �?ckotvn and J.
Young concernin� weed inspection.
Searles moved, Stubbs seconded, that the REZONING
request of George Scherven, dba North Star 3260 Navarre Lane
Realty, for rezoning from R-1D to R-1B,
3260 Navarre Lane, be referred to the Planning
Commission for review and recommendation.

Stubbs moved, Searles seconded, that the DIVISION
request of Stanley Rudd, 630 Park Lane, for 630 Park Lane
a division for the purpose of constructing
a garage only, be approved. Motion, Ayes

Butterfield moved, Searles seconded, that DIVISION

Road, for three doa licenses , be approved.

Searles moved, Stubbs seconded, that Tom EMPLOYr•4ENT
Dorrel and Bill Jo�lnson be rehired as part-
time summer laborers at $2. 00 per hour , and
Charles Spencer be hired as a full-time
light equipment operator, at $3 . 24 , effective
April 1 , 1969, follo�aing the recommendation
of the Public Works Supervisor . ?�4otion,

Searies moved, Butterfield seconded, that SPECIAL APPROPRIATION

fo� a tem�orary appropriation of funds for
golf house remodeling, in the amount of
$1 , 335 , be apnroved, with the stipulation

course fund i,rhen available . The reauest
for �1 , 300 for funds to construct a parking
lot at the golf course was postponed .

Butterfiell moved, Searles seconded, that the TRANSFER OF FUNDS

transfer of $20, 000 from the lic{uor store
fuiid to t�ie general fund, be apnroved.

Butterfield moved, Searles seconded , that APPOINTr1ENT

at $2 . 50 per hour , effective immediately, be

the Village office force compose a letter
to be a directive from the A�layor and Council
, to those who are violating the 1�linnesota
�eed Lat�r� to be sent along �aith notices

foreman have help available to mow weeds in

Searles moved, Stubbs seconded, that the EMPLOYrtENT
recommendation of G. H. Ross that Gerald Liquor Store
B . Johnson be hired as a part-time clerk at
the liquor store, at $1 . 60 per hour, effective
immediately, be approved. Motian, Ayes (4) -
Nays (0) .
Butterfie2d moved, Searles seconded, that BILLS
the All Fund Accounts 3508 through 3580
and Liquor Store Accounts 6651 through 6675,
be paid. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) .
Mayor Ross moved, Searles seconded, that ADJOURN�!ENT
the meeting be adjourned at 10: 59 P.1�1.
