Dear Melanie:
We have reviewed the as-built grading plan for the 2740 Kelly Avenue. The plan is dated 11-28-11. We
have the following comments with regards to engineering matters:
• The as-built plan and grading is acceptable from an engineering standpoint.
• Note that a paver patio appears on the as-built plan that was not on the approved plan dated 8-9-11.
This increased the site hardcover 253 square feet.

We received the as-built survey dated 11-28-11 for the recent construction project at
2740 Kelly Avenue. The final grading was acceptable from an engineering standpoint, but we
noted a paver patio and boulder wall were installed which were not on the proposed plan.
These features were not permitted or approved, however, they do not appear to exceed
hardcover limits or pose drainage concerns as constructed. Ptease note, a ep rmit is required in
the future for such projects.
