Deaz Mr. and Mrs. Storlie:
On June 16, 1998 the City notified you of a Zoning Violation in regard to storage of your boat
trailer. As of this date the violation still exists. A new deadline of July 27, 1998 has been
established for compliance. If this deadline is not met the matter will be referred to the City
Attorney for prosecution. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at my office.

Re: Trailer Parking
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Storlie:
It has come to the attention of this department that you are ajain storing your boat trailer in an
illegal location. Nothing in the City code has changed in the last year and it is still a violation.
Therefore the City must require you to remove the trailer before June 1, 1999. If this deadline is not
met, the City will initiate legal action.

violat;on of City Ordinances. Nothing has changed since your were notified of this violation in
1998 and 1999.
Therefar� the City must require you to remove the trailer prior to July 30, 2001. If this deadline
is not met, the City may initiate legal action.

VIOLATION Reference
1. Boat must have a current license. Subd. 13(A)
2. Boat must be owned by property owner. Subd. 13(A)
3. Property must contain a principal residence. Subd. 13(B)
4. Boat must be operable.' Subd, 13(A)
5. Boat must be 30 feet or less in length.2 Subd. 13(C)

� 6. Boat�must be stored at least 5' from lot lines. Subd. 13(E)
7. Boat must be stored at least 15' from subd. 13(E)
neighboring residence structures.
8. (Lakeshore lots only) Boat must be stored in Subd. 13(E)(1)
a location where it has no significant impact
on lake views enjoyed by adjacent neighbors.
9. (Non-lakeshore lots only) Boat must be stored subd. �3(E)(2)
in a side or rear yard, or on a trailer in the
driveway within front or side street yard?
'Inoperable boats which are under restoration may be stored for up to 2 years.
ZBoats longer than 30' which can be documented to have been stored on the site within the 24 months
prior to September 10, 2001 may continue to be stored until the property is sold and must meet all
storage location requirements.
