November 13, 1967 The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: T�ayor Ross , Councilmen Bagley, Franzel , Searles , and Stubbs . Franzel moved, Searles secQnded, that the hiINUTES Minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 23, REGULAR t�?EETING � 1967 , be approved. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . � ` Stubbs moved, Searles seconded, that the P�(INUTES Minutes of the Canvass Board Meeting of CANVASS IiOARD MEETING November 8, 1967, be approved. �Iotion, Ayes (S) - Nays (0) . The Mayor announced that this was the time PUBLIC HEARING and the place for a Public Hearing for the 67LS-1 and 67LW- 1 proposed 67LS-1 and 67LW-1 , Orono-Long Lake Sewer project . The Clerk read the Notice of Public Hearing and presented the Certificate of P�Iailin� and Affidavit of Publication of said notice . The Mayor asked if there was anyone present wishing to be heard on the matter. The following appeared: J. H. Evans , Tax Agent, Great Northern Railroad. G. Schindler, Great Northern Railroad Engineer. Clyde Holter and Larxy Wilhelm, abutting property owners . tiYilliam Fenholdt, Orono School District . Kermit Eisinger , Orono Orchards , questioned the affect on Orono residents in the plant • areas . After all members of the Public present were afforded an opportunity to � be heard, the hearin� was adjourned to November 27 , 1967 and December 11 , 1967 . • FranzeZ moved, Bagley seconded, that RESOLUTION #206 Resolution #206y A Resolution Apnroving Plans and Specifications And Ordering Advertisement For Bids For 1967LS-1 and 1967Lja-1 , be adopted. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . Stubbs moved, Searles seconded, that the LAND FILL Land Fill Permit request for building gurposes at 1590 Bohn' s Point Road of • R. E. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . Franzel moved, Searles seconded, that the DIVISION T�ivision of Vasa Park be referred to the Planning Commission for review and �, recommendation . Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . � Searles moved, Bagley seconded, that the BUILDINC PERMIT • Building Permit rec{uest of Norman Larson for the [9ayside Kennels be referred to the Planning Commission for review and recommendation even thaugh it appears to be an expansion of a nonconforming use and should be denied . Motion , Ayes (S) - Nays (0) . Franzel moved, Searles seconded, that the Bi1ILDING PERMIT Building Permit request of Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, be approved. Motion, Ayes (S) - Nays (0) . Bagley moved, Stubbs seconded, that RESOLUTION #207 Resolution #207, A Resolution Amendin� Assessments For Sanitary Sewer Improvement 1965LS-1 be adopted. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . • �ranzel moved, Bagley seconded, that the CONTRACT » Contract of Northern States Pawer Company NSP for service to the Sewer Plant, be approved. � Motion, Ayes (S) - Nays (U) . Franzel moved, Searles seconded, that the UTILITY PERMIT request of Northwestern Bell Telep�one Company for buried cable on Lyman Avenue and Smitn Avenue , be apnroved.
