Subject: Documents re: Hoyt Lawsuit
Enclosed please find:
1. Street address file for 2523 Kelly Avenue,with Post-It notes indicating items pertinent to the
case.
2. My notes file on the Hoyt matter.
3. Zoning file #1504 re: a variance application for construction of a house on the site
(application was withdrawn, house eventually built without variances).
These files are our original and only files, and should be returned to my attention as soon as you
have copied the items you require.
Also enclosed are copies of permits and supporting info from two nearby property owners for rip-rap
and/or work within 75' of the shoreline; I searched three properties either side of the Hoyt property
for requests to do lakeshore work.
A. MCWD permit for 2525 Kelly Avenue in 1992 for normal rip-rapping.
B. City permit/CUP/variance for 2509 Kelly Avenue in 1987 for unusual rip-rapping involving
grading near the lakeshore. This was the subject of application file #1180, the contents of
which is microfilmed; I can make paper copies of this file if you decide it's relevant.
