Re: Home Occupation Violation - 2505 Kelly Avenue
Dear Mr. Geyen:
The City has received complaints about the property you
occupy at 2505 Kelly Avenue. An inspection was conducted on
February 1, 1991 and the following items were found on the
property:
1. Ford work van, license #YR63647, expired 1990. J & R
Masonry sign on sides.
2. Chevy work truck, license #YU74046, expired 1990.
3 . Trailer with concrete forms stored on it.
4. Bobcat attachment.
5. Piles of materials (wiremesh, styrofoam, etc. ) .
The City was given photos of the property that showed a
bobcat on a trailer, wheelbarrows, a cement mixer, a steel beam,
tires, a battery, planks and other construction related items. .
This letter is to inform you that this type of operation is
not allowed in this zoning district and you are in violation of
Orono Municipal Code Sections 5.40 and 10.20, Subdivision 4 (C) -
Home Occupations. The expire� licenses are in violation of Orono
Municipal Code Section 9.50. Theref ore, you must cease this
operation and store these business vehicles and materials at
another location where it is permitted. If these items are still
on the property on February_18 , 1991 the City will issue
citations.
