Proposal • 7: 30 P.i�i. in the City Council Chambers to discuss � with the representa�ives of I.DeS. their proposal. The purpose of this meeting is to have each � side examine the conditions and attempt to resolve ��nditions under which the proposal is being onsidered but that the City Council would not take any formal action on April 2, 1974, but � merely discuss in more detail the I.D.S. �roposal. This item will then be put on the April 8, 1974 • agenda for farmal discussion. T�7otion, . Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . ! The City Council reviewed the proposed ring- PROPOSED RESOLUTION ` route resolution and gave the staff guidelines Ring-Route on revising it. It will again be put on the � April 8, 1974 agenda. � Butler moved, Welsh seconded, to approve the BUILDING PERMIT � building permit for Ben Faus, Big Island, for Big Island the purpose of a storage building. This building � is to be 14 ' X 20' in size and its use is to be limited to the storage of small machinery. Under � no circumstances will any livestock be allowed to be kept in the building and under no circumstances • will the building be modified for the purPose of a people being able to use it as a residential structure. Ray Johnson of the �^�est Hennepin Human Services Planning Board, requested � to be put on the agenda of April 22, 1974, due � to a conflict that he had this evening and would be unable to appear before the Council. � � ��he City Administrator informed the Council RELATE that a staff inember from Relate requested � that they be reconsidered on the agenda of April 8, 1974. • ` Butler moved, Welsh seconded, to inform the APPOINTP4ENT State Highway Department that nir. P•Zotion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . • , i�lassengale moved, Butler seconded, to approve ORDINANCE T10. 163 Ordinance No. 163, amending the ski ordinance, Ski - A.�nended • and that the standards as mentioned in Section .040 must be applied to standards as mentioned � in Section . 050. r�otion, Ayes (�) - Nays (0) . • The City Attorney reminded the City Council CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT � to address themselves to the questions concerning � the stormwater plans so that the Watershed District can do its final proposal. It was � suggested that we discuss this at the 6e30 P.r�1. work session on April 8, 1974. The City Attorney � reminded the Council that resolutions needed to be passed at the April 8, 1974 meeting for • the purpose of ordering in the four projects ' of Sanitary Sewer Projects 73-1. The City ttorney informed the Council that he is still eeting with Ledstrom and would have additional information to report on this matter at the next � Council meeting, hopefully. ! • ,'" � � r�INUTES OF A REGULAR PZEETING HELD NIARCH 2S, 1974 Page 4 � The Council took no action concerning the new DIEW ELECTION LAtaS election laws but will again review it at the �pril 8, 1974 meeting, for at this time, the � State Legislature will have adjourned. � A report was made by the Attorney and the CITY SPRING CLEANUP City Administrator concerning the basic � costs and problems concerned in a spring , cleanup campaign being conducted by the staf�. As a result of the discussion, it � was recommended by the staff and accepted by the Council that the City Administrator � and Inspector will go on a tour throughout the entire City as soon as the snow has • disappeared for the purpose of locating • and identifying areas whe=� special cleanup efforts will have to be taken. These people � then will be notified by letter and followup i»spection will be performed by the staff. � Secondly, the Administrator will write to tn� licensed trash and garbage haulers in • the City of Orono and attempt to have them conduct a special cleanup program for their � current customers.
