Our <br /> water test shows that the water has very little iron,but is 15 grains hard. Our quote is based on the <br /> hardness and service needed as follows: <br /> Administration office uses 90,000 gallons of water per quarter(1,000 gallons per day). We <br /> recommend the model#FAF150-1.5540. This is a commercial water softener with a 24"x 50" <br /> tank. The unit is sized with 1 %2" input/output valves so the flow will not be restricted. The unit's <br /> flow rate is 43 GPM. This is a metered unit, which means that the unit will automatically <br /> regenerate after the designated gallons of water has been used. The number of gallons of water <br /> available for use before regeneration is determined by the hardness and iron content of the water. <br /> Based on the city's water usage and the result of our water test for iron and hardness,this unit will <br /> be set to regenerate every 6 days. This softener regenerates at 2 AM after the predetermined gallons <br /> have been used. Please note that there is also a 1 day reserve of soft water, so the city should never <br /> run out of soft water. T.L. Stevens Well Company will also deliver salt on an as-needed basis. <br /> Simply give us a call. The price of this unit including t�and installation is $3,559.26 � <br /> Maintenance building uses 23,000 gallons of water per quarter(300 gallons per day). We <br /> recommend the model#FAF60-1.SS40. Specifications for this unit are the same as the above, <br /> except the flow rate is 36 GPM and the tank size is 14"x 50". Based on usage and water test <br /> results,this unit would regenerate every 9 days and has 1 %2 day soft water reserve.
