RE: Sprint's proposed work at 2700 Kelley Parkway(MS03XC197)
City of Orono,
Per our previous conversations with your office, please find a completed application package for the purpose of
obtaining Zoning Approval and a Building Permit for our client, Sprint's, proposed work.
Sprint has leased space located at 2700 Kelley Parkway from the City of Orono. Sprint is in the process of
upgrading their existing equipment with new technology to replace their existing obsolete technology. This is
being done to support their 4G Network.
Sprint's proposed upgrade consists of adding six (6) panel antennas, nine (9) RRUs, and one (1) microwave dish
antenna to the water tower located at 2700 Kelley Parkway. Sprint also proposes to add two (2) new equipment
cabinets per the attached drawings.
Sprint's installation is a collocation upgrade and will not extend the height of the structure. Sprint will not be
expanding the existing fenced compound. Sprint will not be adding any light to the tower.
The following are included in the application package:

• Passing Structural Analysis with calculations
