• ' • • :' SUBDIVISION APPLICATION FOR GEORGE R. STEINER
, WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized
. and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City")
has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe
development of land within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a
subdivision by George. R. Steiner (hereinafter " subdivider" ) of the property
locat ed-at700 Sixth Avenue North and legally described as follows:
That part of the West Half (W�) of the Southwest Quarter ( SW;) of
Sect.ion Twenty-five ( 25 ) , Township One Hundred Eighteen ( 118 ) North,
• Range Twenty-three ( 23 ) �, West of the Fifth Principal. Meridian, .
and of the West five ( 5 )� acres oF the North � thirty ( 30 ) acres of �
the Northeast Quarter (NE�) of Southwest Quarter (SW; ) of .said .
. Section 25, Township �118, � Range 23, lying northerly oF a line
� described as follows : � Beginning at the Southwest corner of said
Section 25 ; thence North along the West line of said •section, a �
distance of 1, 750 f�eet; thence deflecting to the right at � an angle
� of �93 degrees ; 15 minutes, a distance of 1 , 706 . 8 feet to the
� actual point � of beginning of the line to be described; thence .

WHEREAS, the subdivider has completed all requirements of the
. City, including:
1) Execution by applicant of quit claim �deed, deeding
o� right of way for a public road known as Hennepin �
Co�ncil Road No. 6 .
2) Execution of a Flowage and Conservation Easement
providing for limitations on the use of wetlands .
and/or drainageways located within the property
legally described above . .
3) Payment to the, City of a Park Dedication Fee in the
amount of $100 .00 .
4) Payment to the City for the legal review and recording
of the subdivision and all documents related" thereto
. in the amount of $75 .00 .
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds division application of
George R. Steiner according to the legal description shown on the
certificate of survey by Gordon R. Coffin, dated December 22 , 1980,
subject to the condition that the aforesaid division attached hereto
shall be filed with the Hennepin County Recorder' s Office on or before
March 26 , 1984 , together with a certified original copy of this
Resolution. �
The approval granted by this Resolution shall expire if the
filing has not been completed by the date specified above. In that
event, it will be ne.cessary to file a new application with the City of
Orono for subdivision review.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at
a regular meeting held September 26 , 1983 .
