HomeMy WebLinkAboutre: lot line rearrangement � 6 c� 0 �Ce � � . �k U� TO: File y FROM: Ron Moorse, City Administrator DATE: September 27, 2000 SUBJECT: Administrative Approval of Subdivision/Lot Line Rearrangement or properties at 800 Old Crystal Bay Road and 2700-2780 Kelley Parkway This memo is to document City approval of a subdivision/lot line rearrangement at divides an approximately six acre parcel away from an existing larger parcel owned by the Oro o Schools,and combines the six acre pazcel with an adjacent pazcel owned by the City of Orono. This subdivision/lot line rearrangement does not result in the creation of a new lot. Both lots are conforming to the City's lot standards before and after the subdivision. B the Zonin Code definition of a subdivision Section 11.03 Subd. 2.65 this se aration/recomb nation is not technicallv a subdivision. The City Code allows such a ser�bdivisionflot line rearr gement, that begins with two conforming lots and results in two conforming lots,to be accomplish d through an administrative approval process.Per Section 11.10 Subd.3B the Ci Clerk is autho zed to certi that the subdivision regulations do not a�plv to this particular division. The City's ministrative review process has been completed, and the subdivision/lot line rearrangement ha been given administrative approval and is certified as exempt from the subdivision regulations. e following materials related to the subdivision/lot line rearrangement are attached: 1. Survey and legal description of the parcel to be divided from the lazger Orono Sc ols parcel. 2. Survey and legal description of the Orono Schools parcel remaining after the subdiv sion/lot line rearrangement 3. Survey and legal description of the new City of Orono parcel resulting from the su division/lot line rearrangement. 4. Survey and legal description of the Orono Schools parcel before the subdivision. 5. Survey and legal description of the City of Orono pazcel before the subdivision.
