Dick Gray, representing the Freshwater FRESHI+IAT�R BIOLOGICAL
Bioloyical Institute, gave a resentation INSTITUTE
� on the current status of t�ie �$2, 600, 000
project. The construction is proceeding
! at �150,000 wort;� a month and the Ii�stitute
:iopes to be fully operational by the fall
of 197� . :•ir. Gray pointed out tiiere is no
uoat.iouse i�ivolved. He also � howed some
landscapirig plans whicli includeci over l, 500
ne�a plantings to be done on tne grounds .
� T;ie I,istitute is aavertising for a director
on a world�,wide bas is . Over 200 liave appl ied
so far . Besides tlie �lirector, tiiey Iiope to
liave six full professors and twelve assistant
professors .
i•.Ir . Gray also pointed out that t.iey are trying
to purc;iase the Hotivell liouse in 'Iinnetonka
Beaci� as �aell as some of tiie s;ioreline
along Lafayette Bay.

i,1r. James '�1cCleary made a presentation of STUBBS BAY ;�1ARINA
his plans to buy the Stubbs Bay ilarina. His James tilcCleary
concern was in being able to obtain a liquor
setup license. The Council exnressed a concern
S for finding w�iat tliz neighbor ' s feelings �aould
be, l:nowing more about tlie ex�ent of renovation
and repairs that would talce place, and tue
ma;iagement ' s ability to control such an
� operation before they give further consicleration
to a setup license.
:'�Ir. Ciiarles Peterson made a presentation in DAY CARE CENTER
regarc: to tlie day care center operations at Good Sliepherd Lutheran
tlie Good Shepherci Lutheran Church in Navarre. Church
