Stonebay Condos of Orono
Mr.Johnson,
The fire sprinkler plan submitted for the Stonebay condos project has been
approved with the following changes.
A-All stairway standpipe valves shall be capped with 2 '/:x 1 '/Z brass caps. Upon
final flushing and testing these caps shall be installed so as they cannot be tampered
with.
B-As per NFPA-13, Chapter 3,Section 3-2.3.1, Ezception regarding the attic dry
sprinkler system.If water is not received at the inspectors test connection with-in 60
seconds, a quick opening device will be required on the system.
C-The city of Orono requires that buildings under construction have a water
supply installed,(stairwell standpipes) for fire fightiag purposes upon completion of
top level of construction.
