Setba k variances were granted for the home when it was constructed in 2002. The requi ed rear yard setback is 50'and t e proposed construction of a roof over the existing deck is within the required setba k;therefore staff is unable to a prove the building permit application administratively without variances. If you wi h to pursue with your plans to e close the deck with a roof,a variance approval is required. An advanced plan r view fee of$443.14 was paid with the submission of the permit application. I wi I refund the advanced plan revie fee and will have a check ready to mail the week following the November 12th Cou cil Meeting. Attached is a copy the variance application packet.
