To your comments below, the Jacobs Mill Road development is�eviously develo�ed ropertv. This project is not in any way associated with draining, filling, o�excavation of a wetland. As you can see, the survey/site plan does show wetland delineation and wetland buffer. Permit must be approved by MCWD Board of Managers(time period is 30 -45 days) 2.) Mailing labels are required for all properties with in 600 feet for public notice of the Board Meeting your project will be heard at 3.)Wetland Buffer is required (area of upland adjacent to the wetland that remains undisturbed from mowing, fertilizing etc.)this area is required to be 16.5 feet to 35 feet, depending on the size of the wetland basin. You gave me some guidelines as to where the silt fence should be installed, but I am still uncertain because one excavating contractor stated a concern about the house site being not quite elevated enough to permit a walkout basement on the west side of the house. He indicated he would likely need access to some fill from the area just west of the wetland in the center of the lot, and northwest of the house site. I will fax a copy to you Monday Dec. 9. I will attach a copy of my best guess, so you will know what I am thinking. Please return your recommendation by fax to the number below. Call if you have questions or comments. Also, T am having difficulty locating orange silt fencing. I have been able to find it only in black. Do you know of any sources for 36 inch orange silt fencing, and could you recommend any local contractors that install it? I appreciate any suggestions you may have. Thank you for you assistance.
