Melanie,
I reviewed the application for the new garage and have the following comments:
• I need a larger survey to a scale I can use.
• Even with a magnifying glass I can't read the top and bottom wall elevations. If a retaining wall is over 4' in
height or if a tiered wall exceeds 4' and is not separated by more than 2x the height of the taller wall,the
applicant will need to provide engineered plans and specifications.
• Silt fence should be shown on the west side of the proposed grading (west of pool).
• What is going to happen to the existing retaining wall west of the pool? Is the plan to regrade and repair the
wall or is the intent to remove the wall and regrade?
• The applicant should provide hardcover calculations.
