Christine,
Thanks for the feed back. The concrete walls on the south part of the house are not being replaced. The back
of the proposed retaining wall along the south side is set just outside the 5' setback. Is that problem? We are
trying to fit that sidewalk in and need to have the wall there to make the grades work so that it does not drain
to the corner of the garage as it currently does. It still follows code does it not? Let me know if that is a
problem.

1. Are the concrete walls on the south part of the house being replaced as part of this project? If they are to be
included, an engineer will need to sign plans and specifications because the tiered wall system exceeds 4' in
height and are not separated by more than 2x the height of the taller wall.
2. The proposed boulder wall on the south side of the property is very close to the 5' required setback from the
property line.
