following Trustees were present: R. Z. Searles , R. IV1. Franzel,
and W. J. Schmitt. Absent: C . R. Quady.
MINUTES
� The minutes of a regular meeting held July 27 , 1964 were re�.d
and ap�oroved as read.

� CI,OSING HOURS - NAVARRE AP�iPHITHEATRE
I,eo Aved , owner and operator of the Navarre Amphitheatre , re-
quested variance of Chapter 61.100 of the Code to allow a
2:30 A.M. closing time for the theater. The Council took no
action on the request.
THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA MUNICIPALITIES
Schmitt moved that the Village of Orono join the I,eague of
:�,Iinnesota Municipalities and pay the required annual dues yri
the sum of $282.00 for the year beginning September 1, 1g64.
The motion was seconded by Franzel and carried.
HENNEPIN COUNTY LEAGUE OF MUNICIPALITIES
Franzel moved that the Village of Orono join the Hennepin County
League of Municipalities and pay the required annual dues in
the sum of $844 .96 for the year beginning July l, 1g64 . The

Franzel moved the bid of Rettinger Motors , opened at the last
regular Council meeting, in the amount of $2378.83 for a 1965
pickup truck be accepted and the purchase ordered. The motion
was seconded by Searles and carried.

The motion for adoption was seconded by Searles and carried with
all members present voting aye .

The prelist of general accounts 4879 through 4931 inclusive , anu
sewer accounts 5-258 through 5-292 inclusive , and liquor store
accounts 3483 through 3544 inclusive was reviewed . A motion by
Searles to approve the accounts and order them paid was seconded
by Schmitt and carried.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 P.M.
