SAI,E OF $200,000 BONDS - 64 LS 1 � The Clerk t�en presented an affidavit of publication of notice of 4 bond sale in the Commercial West, published at P�inneapolis , Niinne- sota. Said affidavit was examined, approved and ordered filed. � lhe is:ayor then announced that the meeting was open for the purpose of receiving and considering sealed bids for the purchase of �200,000 Temporary Sanitary Sewer Improvement Bonds of the Village, and the Clerk announced that he had received 2 bids for said bonds , which upon being opened were found to be as follows: NA�ZE OF BIDDER RATE FOR BONDS P��P.TURING pRICE IN THE YEARS FIRST l�T�,TIOT�AL B�TTK OF MPZS . 2.90� on all bonds �200,066.00 lt�.inneapolis , Minnesota . Dain & Company Piper, Jaffray & Hopwood Net Rate : 3 .995� � 1'�:ember Searles then introduced the following resolution and moved , 1�U �a0?��i,1nY?: Resolution #55 • Resolution Awarding Sale of �200,000 Temporary Sanitary Sewer Improvement Bonds (See Resolution Book - Page 48) The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly �>econded by Quady, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ross , Searles , Schmitt and Quady and the following voted against the same : none , whereupon the resolution �:v�.s declared duly passed and adopted, and was signed by the Mayor �,nd the Village Clerk I:er�ber Schmitt then introduced the followin� resolution and moved • its ado�tion: � - Page 1 - - Page 2 - r T�:INUTES QF A SPECIAZ I��IEETING HEI,D JUI�TE 29, 1g64 • Resol7ation �;6 Resolution Establishing the Form and Terms and Directing the Execution and Delivery of $200,000 Temporary Sanitary Sewer Im- provement Bonds and Creating the Temporary Improvement Bond Fund (See Resolution Book - Page 49) The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was dul_y seconded by Searles, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Ross, Searles, Schmitt and � Quady and the following voted against the same: none , whereupon the resolution was decl�,red duly passed and adopted, and was � signed by the P�.ayor and the Village Clerk . • FU�BZIC ?�_ARIl1G - .�1'.V�RRE P�1�KING LCT The Mayor announced that this was the time for continuance of a public hearing on a proposed municipal parking lot. This hearing was opened after due notice at a regular meeting of June 22 , 1964 and continued by motion until this time. Council discussed the proposal. It was pointed out that some of the property to be used as parking lot is presen�ly zoned residential. Searles introduced the followin� ordinn.nce �.nd moved its �doption a.r�d publication: Ordinance �;'66 An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 31 of the Municipal Code of Orono by Adding Thereto a Commercial District The motion for adoption and publication was seconded by Schmitt and carried with all members present voting aye. Schmitt introduced the following resolution and �oved its adoption: Resolution �57 � A Resolution Ordering Cor_structior� - of a Municipal Parking I,ot � at Navarre ( 64 PZ 1 ) (See Resolution Book - Page 54) • The motion for adoption and publication was seconded by Searles and carried with all members present voting aye .
