June 2g, 1g64 , at 6:00 o' clock P.l�l. , with the following members
present: Mayor Ross and Councilmen Searles , Schmitt and Quady,
and the following members absent: Councilman Franzel.

The Clerk t�en presented an affidavit of publication of notice of
4 bond sale in the Commercial West, published at P�inneapolis , Niinne-
sota. Said affidavit was examined, approved and ordered filed.
� lhe is:ayor then announced that the meeting was open for the purpose
of receiving and considering sealed bids for the purchase of
�200,000 Temporary Sanitary Sewer Improvement Bonds of the Village,
and the Clerk announced that he had received 2 bids for said bonds ,
which upon being opened were found to be as follows:

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
�>econded by Quady, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Ross , Searles , Schmitt and Quady and the
following voted against the same : none , whereupon the resolution
�:v�.s declared duly passed and adopted, and was signed by the Mayor
�,nd the Village Clerk

Resolution Establishing the Form and
Terms and Directing the Execution and Delivery of
$200,000 Temporary Sanitary Sewer Im-
provement Bonds and Creating the Temporary Improvement Bond
Fund

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was dul_y
seconded by Searles, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Ross, Searles, Schmitt and �
Quady and the following voted against the same: none , whereupon
the resolution was decl�,red duly passed and adopted, and was �
signed by the P�.ayor and the Village Clerk .

The Mayor announced that this was the time for continuance of a
public hearing on a proposed municipal parking lot. This hearing
was opened after due notice at a regular meeting of June 22 , 1964
and continued by motion until this time. Council discussed the
proposal. It was pointed out that some of the property to be
used as parking lot is presen�ly zoned residential. Searles
introduced the followin� ordinn.nce �.nd moved its �doption a.r�d
publication:

of the Municipal Code of Orono by Adding
Thereto a Commercial District
The motion for adoption and publication was seconded by Schmitt
and carried with all members present voting aye.
Schmitt introduced the following resolution and �oved its adoption:
