Pursu�,nt to due ca.11 �,nd notice thereof, a regular meetinb of the
Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota, was held at
the Village Hall in said Village on D�onday, June 8, 1g64 at 7 :30
o' clock P.M. , with the following members present: �2ayor Ross and
Councilmen Franzel, Quady �.nd Schmitt, and the following mer�bers
absent: Searles.

Council ap�oroved issuance of a kennel license to Norman Z. I,arson
� ��t �layside Kennels , Highway 12 .

R. Cleveland submitted a proposal to divide Tract C of RLS �'1067.
Tract C is a six acre parcel. The proposal is to divide it into
two tracts of 4 and 2 acres . The proposal was referred to the
Planning Commission for study and recommendation.
FILL P��1IT - BAI,DUR PARK
:.:-r. H��rol:� Kitchen requested a per�nit, as required by Chapter 38
oi the code , for filling of Zot 24 , Block 2 , Baldur Park. The
��quest was referred to the Planning Commission for study and
recommendation. .
NAVARRE PARKING LOT
The Council discussed a proposal by the property owners in the
Navarre commercial area that a municipal parking lot be constructed
behind commercial buildings on the Navarre side of County Road 15
� ��.t Navarre . Fra.nzel introduced the following resolution and moved

The motion for adoption was seconded by Quady �.nd carried.
BUII,DING PERMIT - ZOT 77, TONKAVIEW GARDENS
C��ancil reviewed the recommendation of the Planning Commission
^oncerning a request for a building permit on Lot 77 , Tonkaview
Gardens . Franzel moved the building permit request be denied.
��he ?�otion U�as seconded by Schmitt and carried.

Quady moved approval of the action of the Vi1_:L�.�e Cler.'�. i.r.
appointing h'Iargaret K. Bargman as a Deputy Clerk for tne period
of time the Clerk will be on vacation. The motion was seconded
by Franzel and carried.
APPOINTTJIENT - SEWAGE TREATMENT PI�ANT OPERATOR
Council approved appointment of W. R. Benson as Sewage Treatr_ent
Plant Operator on a part time basis in conjunction with his
position as he�.vy eql.zipment operator, street dep�.rtment. •

The prelist of general accounts 4672 through 4722 inclusive , sewer
accounts 5-221 through 5-230 inclusive , and liquor store accounts
3376 through 3411 inclusive was reviewed. A motion by Quady to
approve the accounts and order them paid was seconded by Franzel
and carried.
