R:ayor H. R. R�ss called the meeting to order at 7 : 3U P.T�1. The
following Trustees were present: R. L. Searles , R. 114. Franzel,
C . R. Quady, �,nd V��. J . Schmitt and the following were absent: None .
ORDINANCE �63 - LOtiV I,YING LANDS AND DRAINAGE AREA REGULATION
Searles introduced the follov��ing ordinance and moved its adoption
a.nd �ublicatior�:

The motion for adoption and publication was seconded by Franzel and
carried unanimously.
COPrTI�RCIAZ DOCK LICENSES - 1964
Searles moved approval of a commercial dock license for G. Valerius ,
Summit Park Resort on Long Lake . The motion was seconded by Quady
and carried.
Franzel moved approval of a conunercial dock license for Paul Fahlin,
Paul' s Landing on Smith' s Bay. The motion was seconded by Searles
and carried.
Qu�,dy moved approval of a commercial dock license for i.�innetonka
Boat ti'lorks on Brown' s Bay and Tanager�I,ake . The motion was seconded
by Schmitt and carried.
Searles moved approval of �, commercial dock license for Carl Jonas ,
Brown' s Bay Boat �+dorks on Brown' s Bay and Tanager Lake. The motion
was seconded by Franzel and carried.
Franzel moved approval of a comMercial dock license for J. V. Spates
• on Smith' s Bay. The motion was seconded b� Ross . The r�otion was
` not carried with Franzel and Ross voting aye and Searles, �luady and
Schmitt voting naye.
� Franzel moved approval of a commercial dock license for Orville
Keiran, Stubb' s Bay Resort on Stubb' s Bay. The motion was seconded
by Quady and carried.
Searles moved to postpone enforcement for one year �he policy
adopted by the Council at its regular meeting of April 13 , 1g64 ,
regarding commercial dock licenses on the Crystal Bay frontage of
Lots 6 through 12 , Lydiard' s Park. The motion was seconded by
Schmitt and carried.
Searles moved approval of a commercial dock license for Howard
Carlson, Howard' s Zanding on Maxwell Bay and Crystal Bay. The motion

Searles moved approv`.1 of � cer��merci�l doc� licerl.:e ior G�yle
�Jittig, Gayle ' s Marina on P�iaxwell Bay and Crystal Bay with the
stipulation that the Northeastern tier of docks on I�laxwell Bay,
circled and dated on the plan submitted, be removed prior to issuance
of a license for 1965. The motion was seconded by Schmitt and
carried.

Franzel moved to authorize the Liquor Store I�rlai�ager to r�e�o ti��,te 1
purchase of an ice cube machine for use at the Munici��al I,iquor
Store . The motion was seconded by �uady and carried. �
SANITARY SE4�ER INZPROVEIIZENT PR4GRATti2 - 1964
The Council then considered the preliminary report of VJilliam T.
T�Ii3:ls , Consulting Engineer, Orono, Tvlinnesota, advising as to the
feasibility and estimated cost of constructing a sanitary sewer
project for the Village. After consideration of s�.id report,
member Franzel introduced the follo�•,�ir��; resoltztion. and r.:oved its
adoption:

Report And Directing The Engineer To Prepare Detailed
Plans And Specifications For Sanitary Sewer Project
No. 64-LS-1 and Street Improver.lent Project

The motion f or the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Searles ; and upon a vote being taken, the
following members voted in favor thereof: Ross , Searles , Fr�:.nze?, •
Quady and Schrriitt and the following voted against same : none ,
