following Trustees were present: R. L. Searles , R. M. Franzel,
C . R. Quady and W. J. Schmitt.
MINUTES
The minutes of a regular meeting held M�rch 9, 1g64 were approved
as corrected. The minutes of a regular meetin$ held March 23 , 1g64
were read and approved.
SUBDIVISION - NORRIS - RLS #1113
•
�u�.dy moved final approval of Registered Land Survey #1113 . The
� motion was seconded by Schmitt and carried.
� SUBDIVISION - SHARON HILZS
Franzel �oved final approval of Subdivision Sharon Hills. The motion
was seconded by Quady and carried.
PU�LIC HEARING - STREET VACATION
The b2ayor announced that this was the time and the place f or a
public hearing on a proposed vacation of a part of Wayzata and
Lakeshore Road, located in N. J. Stubbs First Subdivision. The
Clerk read the notice of public hearing and displayed aff idavit of
publication of said notice . The l��ayor asked if there were anyone
present wishing to be heard on this matter. There being no
objections from anyone present, Searl�s introduced th� following
resolution and moved its adoption:

The motion for adoption was seconded by Quady and carried.
� OPEN BIDS - STREET MAINTENANCE &IATERIALS
� The Mayor announced that this was the time and the place for opening
bids for street construction and maintenance materials as advertised.
The Clerk read the advertisement for bids �,nd displayed affidavit
� of advertisement for bids in the official newspaper. The Village
Engineer opened and read aloud the bids. The Council directed the
Engineer to tabulate the bids and ordered that said tabulation be a
� part of these minutes and attached thereto. Council tabled con-
sidera,tion and award of bids until a later date .
PUBZIC HEARING - REZONING SANDY BEACH AREA
The ll�ayor announced that this was the time and the place f or a
t�ublic hearing on the rezoning of certain parcels of land as
d�scribed in notice of public hearing. The Clerk read the notice
cf public hearing and displayed affidavit of publication of said
notice . The Mayor askedif there were anyone present wishin� to be
• heard on this matter. John Schoening and Howard Johnson agreed with

Council that a ten (10) year period , during which existing
non-conformin�; uses could be continued, would be reasonable.

I�:r. E. Geyen requested approval of a building per�it for I,ot 13 ,
Block 7, Navarre Heights . The request was referred to tr�e
Planning Commission for study and recommendatian.
3.2 LICENSE - ZIGHTHOUSE
Searles moved that it be the consensus of the Council that if re-
quirer�ents of the Building Inspector, State Fire PJlarshall and the
State Health Department are satisfied, 3.2 beer, set-up and
cigarette licenses would be approved. The raotion was seconded by
Quady and carried.
SANITARY SE�IER TRUNK EASEP+�NTS �
Searles moved to ap_r,rove pa,yments as set by condem:nation pro-
ceedings for trunk se�er easements numbered 2, 3 , 2g, 30, 3�3 , 4; , �
and 44. The motion was seconded by Franzel and c�,rried.

CO11�+��RCIAI, DOCK ZICENSES - 1g64
Council discussed approval and issuance of commercial dock
licenses for 1g64. Searles moved that the Council esta.blish a
policy of not issuing licenses for "the business of docking or
stoz�ing boats" as defined in Section 73 .030 of the b�unicipal Code,
on the Crystal Bay frontage of I,ots 6 through 12 , Zydiard' s Park.
It will, however, issue licenses for marine facilities such �.s
gasoline sales and bo�,t repair service in the area. Further
action on licenses was tabled until a later meetin�;.
CIGARETTE LICENSE - NAVARRE AItiPHITHEATRL
Quady moved approval of a cigarette license to Out�o�r ii��e��tre
Caterers , Buffalo , Ne�n� York, for use at the Navarre Amphitheatre .
The motion was seconded by Franzel and carried.
BILLS '
The pre-list of general accounts 4479 through 4539 inclusive ,
sev��er accounts 5-187 through 5-195 inclusive and liquor store
accounts 328g tr.rough 3312 inclusive was reviewed. A motion b,�
Searles to approve the �,ccounts and order them p��.id vaa.s seconded �
by Franzel and carried.
