We have been having problems with contractors getting there asbuilt foundation survey to us before the framing begins.
This is why we are asking for the foundation survey before backfill to make sure it has been done before framing
begins. However to help with this process if you can give me a date that you will have the foundation survey completed
and submitted to us you will be able to schedule your foundation inspection once we have received confirmation of this
date from you.We will expedite the review of the survey once we receive it. Any questions please give me a call.

How are we supposed to survey the foundation prior to backfill? There is no place for the surveyors to stand and I've
never seen a surveyor willing to walk a wall.

Roger,
I have a question regarding the first line on the"Builder Acknowledgement Form" we received with our building permit.
The form states that we need to submit the foundation as built survey before we can even schedule exterior insulation
or drain tile inspection.
If this is the case, how long does it take for the city to review the survey after we have submitted it? The jobsite will be
at a standstill while waiting for this step to be complete. The other cities that require a as built of the foundation still let
us waterproof and backfill but cannot start framing until the survey is approved.
