• Certifies that the information supplied is true and correct to the best of his/her knowledge. The applicant recognizes that they
are solely responsible for submitting a complete application being aware that upon failure to do so, the staff has no alternative
but to reject it until it is complete;
• Acknowledges the Escrow Agreement is completed and signed;
• Understands some or all of the information that you are asked to provide on this application is classified by State law as either
private or confidential. Private data is information which generally cannot be given to the public but can be given to the subject
of the data. Confidential data is information which generally cannot be given to either the public or the subject of the data. Our
purpose and intended use of this information is to annually update our records and records of other governmental agencies
required by law. If you refuse to supply the information,the application may not be issued.
• Agrees that in the event that weather or other conditions prevent the completion of an as-built survey at the time the
Certificate of Occupancy is requested, a temporary Certificate of Occupancy may be issued upon receipt of a $10,000
escrow agreement to ensure completion of the as-built survey and all site improvements.

The City is in receipt of your building permit application which was received by this office on April 10, 2012. The
property is located in the LR-1C zoning district, which requires a side yard setback of 10' and is limited in
hardcover and structural coverage. After a cursory review, we find your application is incomplete.
The following items must be submitted or revised in order for your application to be considered complete and for
the plan review to continue:
1. Certificate of Survey. Please provide an updated, full size certificate of survey meeting the City's survey
standards (enclosed) indicating the location of the existing house and structures (ie. landscaping,
sidewalks, stairs, retaining walls)and showing proposed structures(decks) and any proposed grading.
2. Hardcover. The property is located in our shoreland district. Hardcover calculations must be prepared
by a registered land surveyor and submitted. Attached is our hardcover information sheet and the
hardcover calculation sheet.
3. Structural Coverage. Lots under 2 acres are limited to 15 percent structural coverage. Attached is an
information sheet on structural coverage. Please submit the structural coverage calculation for the
property.
4. Escrow 8� Escrow Agreement. Building permits involving grading and/or review by the �ity's engineer
require submittal of an escrow and an escrow agreement. The purpose of the escrow is to guarantee
reimbursement to the City for out-of-pocket costs incurred during the review of your plans. Additionally
this escrow will guarantee conformance with City Code Chapter 79 relating to erosion control and
stormwater. If this permit requires engineering review, the required escrow amount for this project is
$2,500.

Additionally, if there is any portion of the $172.58 Advanced Plan Review fee I paid on 4-10-12 which can
be refunded, please advise me. I can pick-up any available refund from your office, or it can be mailed
