RE: 4108 Highwood Road - Hazardous Building
Dear Mr. Baxter:
We spoke on the phone late last year about the condition of a garage on your property at 4108
Highwood Road. You indicated that you would be removing the structure soon.
Due to ongoing neighbor complaints and the obvious hazardous condition of the building, the
City must now order you to secure the building to prevent trespass. Pursuant to State Building
Code Section 463.251, the building must be secured within ten days of this order. If you fail
to comply with this order, the City shall cause the building to be secured and the cost will be
charged against the real estate as provided by State Building Code Section 463.21.
The City must also order you to remove or repair the building before March 1, 1994. If this
deadline is not met, the City will proceed with a formal hazardous building action. If you have
