RE: 1955 HERITAGE DRIVE- ORONO,MN
Dear Mr. Gorr:
On 1-30-2004 the city issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for 1955 Heritage Drive. This
temporary C.O. required that the remainder of the plumbing fixtures and a manometer test be
completed by May 1, 2004. It also required final grade to be completed by July 1, 2004.
As of this date, these items remain unfinished. Since the issuance of the teinporary C.O. it has
been brought to the city's attention that some areas of the roof have inadequate over hang at the
eaves and the roof drainage is ninning down the fascia. The building code requires that the
manufactures installation instructions are followed. The manufacture requires minimum 3/4" over
hang at the eaves. Another area of concem is some of the cap block on the brick work does not
slope away from the building and has caused leakage. The final grade needs to convey drainage
away from the house. It appears that a swale in the front yard would channel water from the
garage and main entryway to the wetland, similar work is required in the rear yard.
Please correct or coinplete this work as soon as possible. If not completed or corrected before
September 1, 2004 the city may initiate legal action. If you have questions,please feel free to

Dear Mr. Gon:
On August 23, 2004 this office notified you of outstanding items that required completion
or conection at 1955 Heritage Drive in Orono. As of this date the issues remain
um-esolved. This letter is to require you to complete or correct the work noted or the City
will have no alternative Uut to initiate legal action. Action will be withheld until October
18, 2004. If this deadline is not met, the matter will be forwarded to the City Attorney
for prosecution. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at iny office.
