Dear Mr. & Mrs Charrier:
I am writing in regards to your property on Heritage Drive in Orono,tax parcel number 10-117-23-42-
0003.This Office has received a complaint about the renting of dock space. I noticed a very large cabin
cruiser, sailboat and two fishing/runabout type watercraft tied/moored to the dock. This many boats is
an indication that dock space is potentially being rented.
The City of Orono's Municipal Code does not allow for the renting of dock space. If you are renting dock
space please discontinue the practice. If this Office receives any additional complaints regarding this,
further investigation will be made.

Dear Mr. Gibbs;
This letter is a response to your note regarding the rental of dock space at our
property at 1910 Heritage Drive. We are not renting dock space,we own/have the
following watercraft at our dock;
30' Sea Ray cruiser "Andiamo" (restricted watercraft)
18' Herreshoff Eagle "Pyewacket" (restricted watercraft)
16' Crestliner runabout/fishing boat (un-named restricted watercraft)
12'Alumacraft open fish boat with 7.5hp outboard (unrestricted watercraft)
(we also have a 16' kayak on the dock and 14' canoe on the shoreline,all
unrestricted watercraft)
I am aware of the LMCD and Orono rules regarding watercraft storage/density
rules. With our shoreline of 133'we are allowed to store 3 restricted watercraft and
unlimited unrestricted watercraft at our dock. We are within those restrictions and
we are not renting dock space.
