Re: Building Permit Application for pormer
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Fleischman:
The Ciry received a building permit application on May 27, 1994 to construct a dormer on the
north side of your residence. A review of the application finds that the proposed work does not
meet the required 50' setback from the front or street side property line. Although the proposed
dormer would be placed on a building that doesn't meet setbacks, any addition or expansion of
the building envelope in any direction must meet the setbacks. Your only option is to ask the
City Council for a variance. If you wish to proceed, contact Jeanne A. Mabusth to discuss the
