RE: Garage Addition
Dear Mr. Perry:
It has come to the attention of this department that you have recently added a lean-to on your
garage. This letter is to notify you that a building permit is required for this type of work. Your
existing garage was 5.2' from the north lot line where a 10' setback is required. This structure is
partially on the neighbor's property and is in a required yard area. Therefore, the City has no
choice but to require its removal.
A deadline of September 22, 1997 has been established for removal. If you have any questions,
feel free to contact me at my office.
