After much confusion this permit has finally been issued. To ensure permits are processed in a timely manner, please review the following: l. Use the correct permit when applying for a permit. You filled out a mechanical permit, but should have filled out a plumbing permit. 2. You were using an old permit form. Enclosed you will find a new Plumbing and Mechanical Permit Form. To ensure you have the most recent copies of permit applications check out web site at: http://www.ci.orono.mn.us/permits.htin 3. This permit was to be charged a double fee, you did not realize that when you first sent in the permit. This permit had a double fee because work was done without a permit. The fees were calculated wrong anyway; partially because you were still using an old form with old pricing. (When we double fee, we only double fee the base price of the permit) a. You have over paid the cost of this permit is $32.00 you paid $35.00 you, enclosed is your $3.00 refund. b. You also sent in an additional $35.00 thinking this was the cost to double fee, but since calculated wrong to begin with this check is being returned to you.
