, , MINUTES OF THE ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING Monday,February 25,2013 7:00 o'clock p.m. ROLL CALL The Orono City Council met on the above-mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor Lili Tod McMillan, Council Members Cynthia Bremer,Aaron Printup,Kristi Anderson, and Lizz Levang. Representing Staff were City Administrator Jessica Loftus,Assistant City Administrator for Long-Term Strategic Planning Michael Gaffron, Planning Coordinator Melanie Curtis,Finance Director Ron Olson, City Engineer/Public Works Director Jesse Struve, City Attorney Soren Mattick, and Recorder Jackie Young. Mayor McMillan called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.,followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. APPROVAL OF AGENDA CONSENT AGENDA Item Nos. 2a, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 16 through 18 were added to the Consent Agenda. Item No. 2 was removed from the Consent Agenda. Levang moved,Anderson seconded,to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2. REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING OF FEBRUARY 11,2013 McMillan requested the minutes be corrected on Page 10, first paragraph to read as follows: "Jabbour noted the DNR's AIS program is a$3.6 million budget for the entire state of Minnesota." Bremer moved,Printup seconded,to approve the minutes of the Orono City Council meeting of February 11,2013,as amended. VOTE: Ayes 5,Nays 0. *2a. HRA MEETING MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 11,2013 Levang moved,Anderson seconded,to approve the minutes of the Orono HRA meeting of February 11,2013,as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 5,Nays 0. OATH OF OFFICE 3. SWEARING IN OF OFFICER JANE 5ZCZEPANIC Police Chief Correy Farniok introduced Jane Szczepanic.
