1. You may apply for plumbing permits by mail or in person at the City o�ces.
2. Permit cards will be sent by retum mail after a review is completed. PERMITS ARE NOT VALID
UNTIL YOU RECENE A PERMIT. WORK MUST NOT BEGIN UNTII. THE PERi�1IT CARD IS
POSTED ON THE JOB SITE.
3. Piumbing permits may be issued Oi�1L.Y to licensed plumbing contrac[ors and co properry owners residing
in the dwelling.
4. When any new construction or remodelin� is involved, a separate buildin;perm.it must be obtained.
5. All work must be done in accordance wi[h the State Code requirements.
6: All work must be inspected and air tested before i[ is covered. Call 249�600. 24-hour notice required.

* CONTRACT PRICE or JOB COST means the actual or estimated dollar amount charged for the permitted
work including materials, labor, profit, and other fized costs. It is [he a.mount to be charged to the
customer for che work done. If any ma[erial, equipment, labor, or installation are fumished by the owner,
teaant or any other party the reasonable market value of such items must be added to the esti�nated cost
or contract price for permit fee purposes. In the event that there is a dispute on the amount of the job cost,
the Ciry may request the submission of a signed copy of the actual contract.
** The STATE SURCHARGE is .0005 of the contract price under $1,000,000 or $.50 - whichever is
greater. For valuations over 51,000,000 call the Department of Jnspectional Services for the price.
The undersigned hereby applies to the City for issuance of a Plumbing Permit, agrees to do all
work in strict accordance with the ordinances of the City and the re�ulations of the State of
Min.nesota, and certifies that all statements made on this application are complete, true and
correct.
